Vocational Services are provided in both organizational employment and community employment. Organizational employment offers work for participants in:

• Auto detailing - washing, waxing, and detailing the inside of an automobile.
• Recycling Center - requires sorting items collected throughout Goshen County. Items include cardboard, aluminum, plastic, and paper.
• Janitorial work within the facility.
• Second Chance Thrift Store - Sorting, cleaning, and preparing items to sell in the store.

Janitorial skills are developed both within the organization and in the community. Many individuals work on job crews performing janitorial services for community businesses. DSI also assists participants in obtaining jobs in the community. There are twenty-three (23) individual jobs in the community at a variety of different businesses.

The skills developed through community and organizational employment contribute to the participant's self worth and overall independence. Meaningful relationships are built within the community.
